WODA Policy Documents
Common values and principles across the globe
World Organisation of Dredging Associations (WODA) is composed of three independently operating sister associations:
- Western Dredging Association (WEDA) serving the Americas,
- Central Dredging Association (CEDA) serving Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, and
- Eastern Dredging Association (EADA) serving the Asian and Pacific region.
WODA Policies
The first WODA Environmental Policy was adopted in 1998 during the 15th World Dredging Congress, USA. Since then, at subsequent World Dredging Congresses, policy documents have been adopted.
Operating globally, the three WODA constituents, WEDA, CEDA and EADA, sometimes find significant differences in the way dredging projects are planned and implemented. The WODA policy statements capture the common values and principles to which each association subscribes.
